SPLENDOR COMPANY INFORMATION:

Splendor is a select group of 12 talented dancers chosen through audition to represent Prodigy Dance Centre at talent competitions. This elite group of dancers consistently wows audiences with their energetic and stylish routines. A high level of commitment is expected of these dancers to maintain the excellence of Splendor. We feel the relationships developed with faculty and peers through dance are unmatched by most sports and disciplines.

SPLENDOR Involves:

• Choosing dance as a priority over other extracurricular activities

• Attendance to 3 or 4 competitions and 1 convention should we choose

• Attendance to Summer Intensive

• Participation in Year-End Show

 

SPLENDOR Minimum Requirements:

• Will perform 2 base routines and the production routine at competitions with the option to be selected for additional routines

• Required to be at the studio two days a week taking classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical and more. Splendor is required to train a minimum of 6 hours per week.

  • 2 Jazz Classes, 2 Ballet Class, and 1 Contemporary/Lyrical are required

• Approximate Tuition: $215 per month

• Absences – 8 total absences will be allowed. Any more than 8 will result in possible dismissal from the company.
