Prodigy Dance Centre's season runs from August 15, 2022 - May 25th, 2023. All dancers are required to pay for the entire season. Tuition is not based on the number of classes in a month or attendance. There is NO refund for missed classes as we provide a make-up schedule.
The first months payment is due with your registration fee, and this payment is non-refundable. August tuition will be prorated. Each family is required to keep a Debit/Credit card or ACH/Bank Draft on file with Prodigy Dance Centre. Your first months tuition and registration fee will be automatically drafted within 48 hours of your registration using the payment information you provide. After that, your monthly fees will be processed based on the e-payment schedule you select during your enrollment. All payments must be submitted either electronically through your Parent Portal, Auto Draft or by Debit/Credit card, check or cash in the office. We have a few payment options for you to choose from:
Automatic Withdrawal - When you register online you will choose one of the following options:
• 1st of the Month - If you select this option, your monthly tuition fees will be automatically debited from the debit/credit card or ACH/bank draft on file on the 1st of the month. If your payment is declined, you have 48 hours to re-submit your payment online before you acquire a late fee of $15.
• 10th of the Month - If you select this option, your monthly tuition fees will be automatically debited from the debit/credit card or ACH/bank draft on file on the 10th of the month. If your payment is declined, you have 48 hours to re-submit your payment online before you acquire a late fee of $15.
• 15th of the Month - If you select this option, your monthly tuition fees will be automatically debited from the debit/credit card or ACH/bank draft on file on the 15th of the month. If your payment is declined, you have 48 hours to re-submit your payment online before you acquire a late fee of $15.
You will not receive a billing statement or invoice, however, you will receive a receipt of payment each month after the auto-draft.
Manually (Card, Check or Cash) - If you select this option, you will be responsible for making your monthly tuition payment manually in your parent portal or in the office. You will select this option when you register online in the e-payment section. You will still have to provide payment information to keep on file if you choose this option. If you do not make your payment by the 15th of the month, you will have 24 hours to submit your payment before we automatically draft your tuition using your payment information on file. If your payment is declined, you have 48 hours to re-submit your payment online before you acquire a late fee of $15.
All monthly tuition payments (if applicable), Year-End show costume payments, and Year-End show fees will be auto-drafted to the card on file. Tuition is due on the first of every month and will be auto-drafted each month on the day you specified unless you choose the Manual option. If you choose auto-draft, you will be emailed a receipt after your tuition is auto-drafted. Year-End show costume payments will be auto-drafted on November 15th, 2022
LATE FEE: If your card on file is declined, an alternate payment must be made within 48 hours. A $15 Late Fee will be charged for any payments not made in full by the 15th of the month. This includes declined charges for cards on file for any reason.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
I understand dance can be a strenuous activity and accept responsibility for any injuries my child may incur while participating in any activity at Prodigy Dance Centre. Prodigy Dance Centre and its employees are not liable for personal injury, or loss of or damage to personal property.
ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY RELATING TO CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19:
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies have put in place recommended social distancing, occupancy restrictions and guidelines for businesses to follow. Prodigy Dance Centre has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; Prodigy Dance Centre will be implementing all recommendations from Georgia state officials as per Prodigy's Enhanced Sanitation Practices & Social Distancing Guidelines document available on our website.
Prodigy Dance Centre will make every effort to keep our studio sanitized and to prevent symptomatic employees and dancers from entering the building. However, COVID-19 has been proven to be asymptomatic in some persons. Therefore, Prodigy Dance Centre cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19 or any other unknown virus. Further, attending Prodigy Dance Centre could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.
By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending Prodigy Dance Centre and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. By signing this agreement, I agree that my child and any accompanying persons will not enter Prodigy Dance Centre if we exhibit any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19: A temperature greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, other respiratory symptoms, or at least two of the following symptoms: chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. I also agree that, neither my child(ren) nor any accompanying adult will enter Prodigy Dance Centre if we have had known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at Prodigy Dance Centre. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Prodigy Dance Centre, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Prodigy Dance Centre, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 or other currently unknown virus infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Prodigy Dance Centre program or class.
A non-refundable registration fee of $40 for the first dancer and $35 each additional family member is due upon registration. In addition, your first months tuition payment is due at this time. August tuition will be prorated. This is also non-refundable. Payment in full is required for the registration fee, tuition payment, and any preschool or summer fees, if applicable. You will receive a payment confirmation email once your payment has been processed.
We require a 30-day written notice via email if you need to withdraw from Prodigy Dance Centre. Please email email@example.com to withdraw from our 2022-2023 season. After the 30-day notice, we will terminate your monthly installments. Non-attendance is not considered withdrawal from class. Monthly charges continue and tuition is due until we receive written notification of withdrawal.
In the event of a shelter in place, classes will convert to virtual classes and instruction will continue. There may be an approximate one-week transition period from the date of the shelter in place order until virtual classes begin in order to allow us to implement our action plan. This brief time period, if needed, will be treated as inclement weather days, meaning your dancer can choose a convenient make-up class from an appropriate class on our schedule. No refunds will be given for this week. Please call or email to sign up for your make-up class. Remember that a 30-day written notice will still be required for withdrawal.
Performance Company Members Only: If we are mandated to close our physical location due to any government order, classes will convert to virtual classes and instruction will continue. If your dancer chooses to withdraw due to this change in format, you will receive a full refund of all company deposits minus choreography fees and any costs that have already been paid out. These include costumes, competitions, conventions, etc. If you decide to withdraw for any other reason, all original penalties will apply. Please see your acceptance letter for details.
If your dancer misses class due to illness or other personal reasons, they will be able to make up the missed class in a similar class. There will be no discount or refund given for missed classes. There are no make-ups for classes missed when the studio is officially closed for holidays, etc. All classes missed due to inclement weather can be made up at your convenience using our existing class schedule.
2023 SUMMER REGISTRATION:
A full non-refundable payment will be due upon registering for our 2023 Summer dates. The appropriate fees will be posted to your account and will be charged to the card on file.
UNEXPECTED VIRTUAL CLASSES: If we are mandated to close our physical location due to any government order, classes will convert to virtual classes and instruction will continue. We are confident we can continue to engage our dancers should the need arise. Please call or email to sign up for your make-up class.

No parents, friends, or siblings are allowed in the classroom at any time. This is for the benefit of your dancer. They will learn more if we have their complete attention.
Viewing windows will be open the first full week of each month.
If your dancer drops a class, a 30-day written notice is required. You will be responsible for payment until the written notice is received.
For the safety of our dancers, we follow Muscogee County's decisions on inclement weather school closings. However, you should always use your own judgement when deciding to travel due to weather. We will confirm our closing via email when inclement weather affects Prodigy Dance Centre. We will also communicate all schedule changes on social media as well! All classes missed due to inclement weather can be made up at your convenience using our existing class schedule.
Our staff is available during office hours to answer any questions you might have! If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please call or email to set up an appointment as we rarely have time in-between classes. You can reach us at email@example.com or 706-221-5566
We generally follow the Muscogee School Calendar for closing. Please note: We will NOT close for MLK Day. Please see full calendar for details. If you attend a school district outside of Muscogee County, please let us know if your child will be missing class (for example, a different Spring Break, etc.).
