2021-2022 | covid-19 studio guidelines

At Prodigy, we take the health and safety of our dancers and faculty very seriously. We have implemented policies, procedures and protocols in an effort to keep everyone safe and to keep our studio open for in-person classes!

Thank you in advance for your support and participation in helping us to keep on dancing.

COVID-19 Studio Protocol Flow Chart
- Use this flow chart to determine when you should contact us and when you should stay home from dance. This protocol is subject to change if government mandates or CDC recommendations change. We will alert you if we do make changes.

COVID-19 Warning - This warning outlines the exposure risks associated with COVID-19.

ENHANCED SANITATION PRACTICES:
For the safety of our dancers and staff, we are incorporating extensive new and improved sanitation practices at Prodigy. The following protocol is in addition to our existing standard cleaning procedures. Additionally, signage has been placed throughout the studio to remind everyone of best hygiene practices and social distancing guidelines.

MASK ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARENTS ENTERING THE BUILDING:

For the safety of our customers, we are requiring that all parents & adults 19+ entering the building wear a mask at all times. This is for the safety of our dancers and faculty. If you are seen not wearing a mask while inside the studio, we will ask you to put one on or to please wait outside for your dancers class to finish.

NEW AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM:
Medify MA-40W V2.0 Medical Grade Filtration H13 True HEPA kits have been installed in all studios. This process removes viruses from the air as it comes through the vents and has a 99% success rate of stopping the spread of pathogens to help reduce subsequent outbreaks.

CLEANING/SANITIZING BETWEEN EACH CLASS AND END OF DAY:
We have allotted time between many classes to help facilitate cleaning. This thorough cleaning includes but is not limited to all studios, all entrances/doorways, any handheld props, any area touched by dancers, restrooms, and any common areas dancers use.

We have trained all employees on the proper protocols for cleaning. Dancers will not be permitted into the rooms until the cleaning is complete. At the end of each day, all floors and restrooms will be thoroughly sanitized in addition to daily sanitizing standards.

SPOT CLEANING AS NEEDED:
Staff members have access to cleaning supplies, disinfectant and hand sanitizer and have been instructed to clean any areas needed during class, should it be necessary.

HANDHELD PROPS:
The use of handheld props will be limited, however should we choose to use them they will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use.

HAND WASHING REQUIREMENTS:
Anyone who uses the restroom facility will be required to thoroughly wash hands with soap upon exiting the restroom. All staff members have been trained on proper hand hygiene and will be required to use hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap after each group leaves the area where they are stationed.

Required Notice: The following is a required notice under O.C.G.A. 51-16-3. This notice is also posted at all entrances to our buildings.
WARNING - Any person entering the premises waives all civil liability against this premise's owner and operator for any injuries caused by the inherent risk associated with contracting COVID-19 at public gatherings, except for gross negligence, willful
and wanton misconduct, reckless infliction of harm, or intentional infliction of harm, by the individual or entity of the premises. O.C.G.A. 51-16-3
